For more than 40 years John Spalek has been travelling across the US meeting exiles in the hope of saving their documents for prosperity. The people he meets are all elderly, he himself is 83, he knows that time is running out for him and his generation. Spalek knows that the documents he fails to rescue will be lost forever.
